Hi,
Try to make this command in your linux console :
find / -name search.cgi
It will show you where is the search.cgi of DataparkSearch. Search.cgi is often
in /usr/local/dpsearch/bin
Then to add it on your Apache Server, you have to make an Alias. For this you
have to edit your apache.conf file which is in /etc/apache/apache.conf. Find
Alias section and add something like following :
ScriptAlias/search/ "/directory/of/search.cgi" #/usr/local/dpsearch/bin/
<Directory "/directory/of/search.cgi">
AllowOverride None
Options None
Order allow,deny
Order from all
</Directory>
Then restart your Apache Server (/etc/init.d/apache restart) and go in your
Explorer and go on htt://localhost/search/search.cgi. It will show the search
page. If you use cache mode as dbmode in your indexer.conf you will have to run
./indexer -TW and check if in your search.htm, the DBAddr is well set ! (The
same as in indexer.conf)
Hope it will help you, I think it's wright. Good luck,
Jisay
