DataparkSearch can index MP3 tag natively, see http://www.dataparksearch.org/dpsearch-indexcmd.en.html#checkmp3_cmd as well it can index the textual data in GIF files. For other multimedia data you need provide an external parser that converts it into text or html or xml types which are indexed by DataparkSearch.
