Hi Victor, In case you have/make a file with the new numbers as a csv-file (a commasepareted file - where you can use other characters as well instead of a comma - say 1000;1001;1002 etc. the easiest way to reach your goal is to import this file, Crtl+F5. In the import window pay attention to "Duplicate record action - 4". After pressing 4 you will have different options. Choose option 3 ( replace/merge the record in the database with it.). Now you are asked to choose an index. The index you choose must be the catalogue number, that is you need to have/create an index with ONLY that field as your index. Now you can start your import and all the old and identical numbers will be updated with the new ones.
If you have or make a file of the new numbers this is by far the most easy way I can think of. To make this file you may use Excel and afterwards save it as a csv-file. If you need to manupulate the csv-file WPeditor is the tool. Hope it helps.
