Hi everyone,

I spoke to Mike on the phone yesterday evening and again this morning. He has a temporary problem with his internet line connection and is trying to sort this out with his provider. In the meantime, he is unable to read any emails but will respond when he is back online.

When I spoke to him yesterday, I did suggest yet another way of dealing with his link problem. By having a back link in panel 2 which linked to advertiser records in panel 1, it would be possible to set a formula on a mandatory field in panel 2 so that there would then only be a value in that field when the record being created was linked to an advertiser record. Thus it would not be possible to save records in panel 2 for anything other than advertisers. Does this make sense?

      Cheers,

         Brendan.
