I have a database, where I have 10 items on the opening menu:
Items 1-4 simply go to panels 1,2 3 or 4; items 5-9 run reports and item
10 goes to the Report List.
I have created an extra panel (panel 5) and would like to change the
menu such that items 5-10 are moved down to be items 6-11 so I can
insert "Go to panel 5" as item 5.
What is the best way of doing this? Edit STE?
I've looked at the STE with Office Editor 3.1 and have found the
relevant section but am not sure what various entries mean. It looks
like this after the menu text:
ENTRY: 1 1 1 0 0 ~~
ENTRY: 2 1 3 0 0 ~~
ENTRY: 3 1 4 0 0 ~~
ENTRY: 4 1 2 0 0 ~~
ENTRY: 5 3 0
REPORT.BASED.ON.PANEL:2
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .etc
The numbers after the word ENTRY are a puzzle: the first appears to be
the menu item number but what are the others and what do they do please?
