Subject: [Dataperf] Questionnaire/Survet with DataPerfect

Hi Brian & anyone else who has been following this thread,

I'm laughing like a drain here!!!!!

I spent ages trying to figure out a way of toggling a U1 field between an "X" and blank to use as a tick box and, in the end for the time being at least, decided to leave it with no formula etc at all - I'd come back to it later.

To pretty things up a bit and make it more obvious where the tick boxes were I recently surrounded them with square brackets so the screen shows [ ] with the U1 field between them. As I was testing something else, I clicked in one of the boxes and it changed to an "X"!! I tried another, it did the same. I clicked on one with an "X" in it and it went blank, clicked again, an "X" appeared!!!!

I consulted the DPMouse manual and guess what? Anything enclosed in square brackets is treated as a button and a tick box is just one example of it.

Wherever you are Steve Patima, thankyou!

Regards,

Michael
