truly remarkable Open Source platform -TiddyWiki - www.tiddlywiki.com
- a self-contained wiki single-file site in which each "page" is
stored in the form of a "tiddler" - that can be formatted text,
embedded images amnd media, javascript macros, and cascadin.
My discovery of TiddlyWiki - and its many features - built-in or
defined with freely available plugin macros - written in JavaScript.-
and including tiddler import & export functions was soon followed
with the realization that DataPerfect serves as a brilliant warehouse
& engine for generating tiddlers, and the concept of TiddlyPerfect
was born - www.tiddlyperfect.net - and I have generated several
prototype TiddlyPerfect sites in which the substantive tiddlers have
been generated from DP databases.
One of the key missing links - at least in terms of the tools with
which I am familiar - is the development of Javascript macros that
can read and write in DP, and can enable the execution of macros and
scripts for DP.
But enough of that for today; take half an hour to reflect on Earth
Day and the State of the Earth, and the disappearing cryosphere - to
