  Hi Jim,

The easiest way if you do not go the DPSpool way, is to install your USB
as a Windows printer and then share it... give it a simple share name
without spaces... At a DOS prompt you can redirect an LPT (1, 2 or 3) port
to use the share.

So for instance if you PC's computer name is "mynewpc" and the share name
for your USB (or any type of connection you can make, eg network, bluetooth,
whatever) printer is named "myprinter" and you wanted to assign it to the
printer port LPT2 then the command you would use to redirect it will be:

  net use LPT2 \\mynewpc\myprinter /persistent:Yes

the optional /persistent: switch at the end can take the valus Yes or
No... it defaults to No if you omit this switch... If you set it to Yes
then your PC will remember the redirection next time is starts up... if you
set it to No then you will need to issue the command prior to each time you
restart Windows and want to use the redirection.

  Regards
  Brian
