Peter, maybe this will help; Prompt RV (say RV1) for low range value and another prompt (say RV2) for high range value, then create another RV (say RV3) to define formula "RV1>=P?F? and RV2<=P?F?". Then on the iteration, select "skip record if false" in RV3. Be sure to place this iteration in the body of the report (not the header), before printing any field.
To print to the report the low and high range values the user entered for that report, just select the "print report variable" option and enter the RV#, in this example RV1 and repeat for RV2.
