Stephen - I'm very curious what "official" answers you can get. To my
knowledge DP is in the public domain and its creator, Lew Bastian, has legal
rights to update and change it although not sell it. DP is a tremendously
powerful product although quirky in that its manner of organization and
basic conventions are so different than other products out there. There is a
loyal group of users that are resources online and a few years ago we even
got together for a long weekend to learn from each other and celebrate our
uniqueness and resistance to change.

Good luck.
