Well, Vista DOS appears much better than XP as long as I don't need DP
on Network Folder.
I cannot see and cannot create a DP application on a network folder. DP
will start and opening screen appears, but no applications are listed
unless I change directory to point at local hard drive.
Novell Netware is 6.5, but I also have a 4.11 server -- and I can't
connect to it at all from Vista because MS ended IPX support with Vista,
according to my network guy.
I wonder if anyone has found a work around? Otherwise I'm going to end
up reverting or VM-ing 4 new Vista Ultimate machines to XP Pro -- which
I find not very satisfactory [slows down windows programs and sometimes
they will note even open without ending DOS], even using TAME.
I'm still using DP 2.3 E -- do the newer releases correct this problem?
