Hello Don,

Sounds like what you need is a utility that enables your db to create a .pdf
file. Adobe might have some solutions for you.

The company where I am currently temping – Mighty Leaf Tea – uses an app
created by Sage Software found at http://sagesoftware.com/ that enables an
option to deliver .pdf files through the print menu. We use this for our
International invoicing. Avenue to explore? …

BTW … thought about you while watching the Steelers/Jaguars game.

All the best,
Tony

Subject: [Dataperf] A question for the genius bar . . .

For many years I've run a report out of DP that I print using a very old DOS
utility called 4Print. Basically 4Print shrinks the text to print two, three
or four "regular" pages on a single page. This is how I produced my
political walk lists. Back in '93 the guy who wrote it actually added an
optional function just for my use. The program has been invaluable.

Today I am trying to create a print file from this program and create a .pdf
file. I am able to "print" to a filename and when I print that file name
from the DOS line it prints in the format I want it in. So far, so good. Now
my task is to figure out how to "print" that file into a .pdf format. Does
anyone have a clue?

I figured that I'd ask here before venturing off on any wild tangents.

Don
