Thanks Matt but I think Novell experience may be different. The problem is seeing the app after starting DP -- no apps appear listed on network folder, even though one is clearly present -- it just does not show in DP -- but does show in any file manager. Also, if I try to create a new database on network folder, it errors out. I'll need to look at error code if you need that, but DP just does not like network folder even though I am able to start DP from the same network folder.
I think I have a handle on shortcut setup -- although I am starting DP from WP Office Shell 3.1. DP starts fine as I mentioned earlier, it just does not display any apps in the same directory that DP is started from and same as designated directory in Shell setup. So, I wonder if at anytime during your network setup did you run into problem where you could start DP but could not see any apps displayed? If yes, what setting changed that?
