  Hi Robert,

It seems you must not have gotten this the first time around.

Although Tim might be able to help better than me. To insert a tab in a
report variable, treat it like a string, ie delimit it with double or single
quotes, and in between them hold the ALT key down and whilst it is down type
009 on the numeric keypad then lift the Alt key, you should see a small circle
character inserted. You can also enter these in the report itself, of course
without the quotes, so for example if you are writing a tab delimited export.

You would select a field, then ALT-009, next field, then Alt-009 etc etc

In regards to printing, if it is not using DPSpool then you need to consult
your printer reference manual for the particular codes.

  Regards

  Brian

These may be a questions for Tim Rude, but maybe someone else knows (or would
like to know):

     1. How do I insert tabs in a report variable?

     2. Can I specify a font in the print control variable? In a report
variable?

  Thanks,

  Robert Kendall
