Not that I'm a programmer, but does anyone know if it possible to call an external dll file from a DataPerfect field formula?
I am using a database that I set up which, amongst other things, shows entered GB OS Grid references and converts them to all numerical format using a field link to a look up table. I then export this all numerical format grid ref data to a file and load it into an external programme that converts the data into Longitude, Latitude & Altitude. The converted data is then imported into DP. According to the instructions with the external programme, it is possible to call its dll to perform the conversion from another programme.
