Presumably you are running Windows workstations so the best way of handling
CPU utilisation of DOS programs is by using something like TAME..

WordPerfect under TAME http://www.columbia.edu/~em36/wpdos/tamewp.html 

In fact I suspect from what I have read (no personal experience) that it
might almost be compulsory under Windows 7.   Has anyone got DP working
under Windows 7?  Is that the 32 bit or 64 bit version?  The WPDOS.org  site
also has some recommendations and caveats about running WP
