My DP skills are very rusty. Ralph's book is buried somewhere in our garage
after I moved from Texas to Northern California and am in need of a
"jump-start" on a new app.
I am building a one panel app with the following fields:
P1F1 - a G9999:I to store picture #'s
P1F2 - an A13 to store a filename for a picture in the current
record to be formulated to result in "ahspix0000.jpg"
I have tried the following formulas - neither one works:
1. cat.c["ahspix";P1FI (Selected, of course);".jpg"] - every record
I create returns "ahspix.jpg" in that field ignoring the numbers
I then thought I needed to convert the field to a text field and tried:
2. cat.c["ahspix";apply.format[A4;P1F1];".jpg"] which returns a
"Word not Recognized" Error Message.
I look forward to any thoughts on possible fixes.
