Thank you Tom, Charles, Tony and Don for your quick responses and
assistance.

Charles, your clear instruction of "For the Record Delimiter, press the
space bar" was the solution. I pressed [Enter] for the Record
Delimiter instead of the space bar. I didn't realize that the "~" was a
problem.
Thanks Tom, for your suggestion too of just replacing the "~" with a
space before the <CR><LF>. Both ideas work beautifully.
DataPerfect rocks!!! There's nothing like it! I can't wait for DP for
Windows version to appear.

Tom and Don, you're right. Only .csv files can be imported.
Don, I work with Excel files a lot but only exporting from DP. I never
tried importing. I knew to remove the commas in the Excel file before
saving it as a .csv file, since .csv is comma delimited.

Tom, while I was trying to figure out the problem, I was thinking of
your idea of exporting it as a .txt file and importing it into DP via WP
but I was sure there was an easier way around it. So I wrote to this
wonderful group of expertise and voila! in no time I got help.

Thank you all so much and have a great day!
