Hi Geert, Thanks for your advice; I have, as an experiment, done a simple search & replace on an existing merge data file, within WordPerfect, to replace Merge Field End and Merge Record End codes with ~ & |. I then set up a test merge within MS Word which eventually worked although I am not experienced enough with Word to set up a merge from more than one data file which one of the tasks would need. I will experiment further!
