I know this is off topic, but I'm pretty sure dp crowd is most knowledgeable group remaining when it comes to dos printing problems, so please forgive me for straying.
We just installed two new Xerox copier printers with accounting feature that requires users to input an accounting code to execute print command. For windows programs, users get a pop up screen asking for accounting code. For WP5.1 files, I can print to the machines if I turn off accounting system, but cannot do so if accounting is turned on -- I just get error sheet telling me that I have inputted an invalid accounting code. Does anyone in the group know how I can have WP print command pause to require an accounting code and on Enter, have it send the 4 digit code to the printer in advance of the print job? I played with all sorts of print code commands years ago for HP 2, 3 and 4s but have forgotten whatever I knew then about the subject.
