Almost all antivirus systems have problems like this from time to time.. Tim's solution for ABG is generically the same solution for all the others too

To get AVG to ignore them, you simply open up the AVG interface and select Tools from the menu, then Advanced Settings. You can then add Tame or any other utility that AVG is wrongly flagging to the PUP Exceptions and the Excluded Files list under the Resident Shield section. That should make AVG leave it alone and let it run. Of course, before you tell AVG to ignore something it's flagging, make sure it really isn't an infected file. You can upload a file to http://www.virustotal.com/ to have it scanned by multiple antivirus apps to be sure.
