Hi Rich,

I've never used DPMouse so not sure on that one. Version 6 info is non-
existent - there is some info under the 5.1 release heading that has some
info but it is also out of date - the last info file date appears to be
2006.

The updates are free for the same number of users licence. You need to
simply install ver 6.0 into new directory (I think Tame 6 is the default
directory name on installation) so your old version can stay there while you
are testing. (Ours is still sitting there) A copy of the licence file
"register.txt" needs to be in the Tame 6 directory and you are good to go.
Otherwise it will run as the evaluation version. If my memory serves me
correctly (We had to a complete system install at the same time) the whole
tame installation was a breeze - I think even the register.txt file got
copied automatically. I remember thinking at the time - "What a shame the
info release/readme files aren't up to date cause this is very very slick"

Once you get it installed come back with any questions - I'll try and help -
but we have found it really great with very little tweaking being
required. - I think there are benefits re mouse, fonts window sizing, & key
speed etc even for single user systems that wouldn't normally require Tame
for which the prime use is to control CPU usage on multi-user platforms.

And Obviously BACKUP FIRST - but I think you'll be sweet :-)

Cheers

Colin
