The purpose of the ;;W is to do this conversion of entities, & < > ' " to
& < > ' " If you do not need this do not use the ;;W

If you are outputting HTML or XML then you should not normally be using
these bare characters. You might however have say Javascript code that you
are embedding in HTML and then you should wrap up this data in a CDATA
section.

Subject: [Dataperf] Reproducing "<" and ">" in a report field with ;;W

 I have entered into a field "<" and ">".

When printing the report to text, the field which contains the above
date, I have formatted them with ;;W

The resulting file replaces the "<" and ">" with "<" and ">". Is
there a way of getting the "<" and ">" to produce as entered?

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Victor Warner
