Hi, Chris, Just on the off chance, what other indexes do you have on panel 16? (Which index is giving the error?) Laurie ----- Original Message ----- From: Chris Pedersen To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, September 23, 2011 12:19 Subject: Re: [Dataperf] Totalling Report Variables
Hey all Rather peculiar question which I dont' understand. Panel 80 has a KAT into panel 16. The index between them is three fields, identically formatted. U2 A5 A12. Both the projecting field and the receiving field are G-$zz,zzz,zzz.99 fields. Values being totalled are in the xxxx range, with the total in all cases less than xxxxxx.99. Database was working great. I exported the data out of panel 80 and panel 16. Deleted the data fields. Reimporting the data into panel 80, I am having errors reindex errors into panel 16: "The records are not unique. At least one index key was found to be duplicated in the indexes... The panel only exists for the purposes of displaying inventory totals. I'm curious how the KAT can possibly have a problem with duplicate items in panel 16. If the recipient panel has a record -it should just total. If it doesn't have a record its supposed to create it.... Any ideas? I've reindexed, and done the big clean - no difference.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Dataperf mailing list [email protected] http://lists.dataperfect.nl/mailman/listinfo/dataperf
