Brian's solution is beyond doubt the fastest & the easiest one!

The only other solution is to

- DPEXP the report
- edit the STE-file with a text editor, taking great care not to mess up things (!)
- DPIMP the report again

... which is really a lot of hassle for nothing !

For Example;
In a report I use Ctrl-F7, 6 and enter a prompt in a variable, then press enter.
How i edit this prompt?
