Hi everyone,

I have a DP application sitting up on a Linux host at a commercial web
hosting company, running under Linux. Normally when I need to do any
maintenance I just copy the STR down to my local Windows machine make the
changes I need and then copy the STR back. (On rare occasions I might also
have had to copy down the data files). Today I needed to make a small change
to the size of a field, and rather than copy it back to my Windows 7 64-bit
machine I decided I would do this in situ in DOSEMU, using Putty to give me
a terminal session.

All went well, I exported the real panel data to using Shift-F7 and then
deleted the panel data Alt-F5 and then made the change. All good. Now when I
want to import the data back I find that CTRl-F5 is not working, nor are any
of the Control Keys. I could of course bring this back to my local machine
and do the Import there, but I hate giving up on a problem so easily. I
remembered that other people have had trouble with the CTRL-Function key
operations. Some people had the problem with this in Windows 7, but I am not
sure whether this is a problem at my end with Windows 7, or not have the
correct terminal settings for Putty, or whether this is a DOSEMU issue.

Does anyone have a quick answer? It's not urgent or critical, there is a
Plan B, but as I said, I hate giving up. Plan B is for wimps. J

Thanks

Brian
