Thanks for everyone's help in configuring VDos. I've dropped Jos a note about this issue but perhaps someone here has an idea. I am running VDos on a Vista machine that was giving me problems after longer imports and reports with the window receding to the background and while working, not allowing me to access it. VDos corrects that problem. It creates another, however.
A two level report sorting through about 900,000 records running in native Vista takes just under 5 minutes to run. The same report running under VDos is only partially complete after one hour.
