Hi Rich;

I was just in the middle of working with the reports in the STE file in
Microsoft Word
when your interesting email came through. Thanks so much. I went online to
search for
it and trying to understand it.

Does this method work for Window 7 or higher? If yes, how do you execute these
programs?

DataPerfect databases. He used a modified version of the STE-MGR, and had
reports
to output a XML-HTML file which could be opened in a browser. It works
beautifully.
Well, if you go back to the resultant STE-BASE.str that is generated, and open
it in
DataPerfect, the initial panel (STE-BASE.HDR) shows a link to reports. Going
through that link, shows the report panel (STE-BASE.REP). There you will find
just
about any info on every report in the database. Very easy to create a new
report to list
report names.
