Good morning Malkie, It would seem that you would need a way to count lines before sending them off to the report (or printer) in order to accomplish that and that you would have to start from the break in each page doing so. I would think that at the very start it seems like an impossible feat to accomplish within DP.
When I print out a certain type of list I've been using an old DOS product called 4Print to shrink one page into two or three when printed on a laser printer and needed a way to create a true page break (as opposed to a 4print page break which just would shove the page into the next column rather than the next physical page) and had to get the developer of that product to put in a print option that would do that in a certain code in the print report of two consecutive page returns. To this day I use that routine to create a .pcl file which I then convert to a .pdf for printing Don *Don FriedmanProfessionalRecords.Com LLCPRS Data Systems* *205 S Main StreetPittsburgh, PA 152151-800-PRS-FILE 412-784-1615 Fax* *412-400-3881 Cell/Text* On Thu, Feb 11, 2016 at 5:30 PM, barmag <[email protected]> wrote: > Is there a way to control widows & orphans, i.e. breaking up lines, in > lists?
