Udo - thanks for keeping it up. Once you're up and running again I'll post
some information from Jos Schaars about upcoming improvements to VDOS. I
mounted VirtualBox in a Win10 machine and did some time testing and then
sent him some data on how fast DP could perform certain functions under a
command prompt in Vista, WP7, VirtualBox and Vdos. It was just for his
information, I told him I was very happy with Vdos for allowing me to have
simple lookups done from Windows, that creating databases and running major
reports in a large database was impractical. He then told me that he'd work
on figuring out why that was but none of the people he'd been talking to
about it stepped up and provided him with a larger database and
instructions on how to run DP to test it. Hell, I have those at the tip of
my fingers so I sent him a package and instructions and he's been very
successful and figuring out how DP is running and using memory and tweaking
Vdos to accommodate it. So we'll be able to post that.

DP has been a great tool for those who don't program - like me - and at
this point in my work life I'm not changing, it serves me very well.
