Hi Ed - and all :)

if I remember well, an easy way to achieve this is to create a "non-updatable/must-be updated" (::N ::M) field in the panel and give it value "1" with a conditional formula ("if field = 0 then 1 else 0 endif"), calculated on create and edit...

Geert.

Hello All,

I seem to recall there is a way in which to “lock” a record in a panel that no changes to the data is allowed. Somebody demonstrated >this in the DP conference ages ago in Huntington Beach. I believe that the WP SHELL had to be running as well. Not sure if the DP >mouse also had to be running. Does anyone know more about this feature?

Thanks,

Ed.
