At the beginning of last year I had to replace my XP system so got a new computer. Because I use both screen magnification and screenreader software I found that I couldn’t move to Windows 10 then so had to settle for Windows 7. I asked a question similar to yours but in the context of Windows 7 and several members of this list recommended VDos to me. I downloaded and installed VDos and it has worked well for me for more than eighteen months now. There are some problems wiht my access software but I can get round those ok. I understand that VDos is available for Windows 10 so I’d certainly say it’s worth a look.
