Hi Ed, Yes, the DPSpool printer commands to set the various printer options such as page orientation, paper size, bin, etc. take one of the following forms:
<249>P<249> Specifies Portrait mode <249>L<249> Specifies Landscape mode <249>Dx<249> Specifies Duplex mode (x = N for No, H for Horizontal, or V for Vertical) <249>Bnum<249> Specifies Paper Bin number (num = predefined bin-number) <249>Snum<249> Specifies Paper Size number (num = predefined size-number) <249>Sw;h<249> Specifies Custom Paper Size (w = width in inches, h = height in inches) <249>Qx<249> Specifies Print Quality (x = H for High, M for Medium, L for Low, or D for Draft) <249>Cnum<249> Specifies Number of Copies <249>R<249> Resets Printer Options to defaults In order for these codes to take effect, they must be sent before any other codes on a page. This even includes margin codes. Otherwise, they won't take effect until the next page of the report starts. The effect of these codes depends on the capabilities of the printer and driver. If the printer or driver being used doesn't support a given code, it will simply be ignored. Note that you may not specify multiple printer settings within one single code. Each setting must begin and end with the <249> code character in order for DPSpool to properly recognize it.
