Responsible for data acquisition, data access, data analysis and data design* * * *2. Creation of logical data models and physical designs to meet business requirements* * - Knowledgeable in Star/Snowflake schemas and traditional ER modeling * * * *3. Integrate new data with existing warehouse structure* * * *4. Continuous improvement for the functions of the system* * * *5. Data mapping from source to target systems/databases, including required data transformations * * * *6. Apply RDBMS knowledge to design physical data model with focus on data integrity, performance, reuse, recoverability and archival* * * *7. Develop SQL queries* * * *8. Conduct data model reviews* * * *9. Build consensus around the data models with business and technical teams * * * *10. Support development, system and integration test* * * *11. Identify and remedy data model defects* * * *12. Assist in developing standards, metadata and so on* * * *13. Practice proper change control processes* * * *14. Perform data conversions from Access to DB2/Oracle* * * *15. Produce project artifacts needed for project execution and implementation * * * *16. Data Architect on several recent projects * * * *17. Extensive experience with data modeling and analysis tools * * * *18. Experience with DB2 and Oracle databases* * * *19.
