Role : *Oracle DBA* #of Positions- 1 Duration- Long Term (max is 2 years) Location- Dallas (Local To TX Only) Rate : $50/hr on C2C Max Here is what they are looking for: Skills: Need 7-10 years of experience in a fast paced environment doing Oracle DBA production support *Multi-terabyte environment **(5-10 TB).* Oracle 9i/10g RMAN RAC Dataguard Shell Scripting, Perl Telecom is a plus 24x7 Production Support Description Responsible for preparing Billing System upgrade, troubleshooting and supporting(Mainly on HP UNIX 11i and Oracle 9i, Oracle 10G). Includes, database capacity planning (billing cycle management), Tuning SQL statement, Table range partitioning, using SQL Impact 3.4 to analyze performance changes to database object, i.e. additional indexes, columns. Structure changes, object rebuilds and using stored outline as the result of application tuning. Preparing PL/SQL scripts (using copyban & ref_copy tools) to copy selected data from production to development environment, preparing SQL scripts to create and rebuild all kinds of schema objects, providing support for advanced replication.
