*JOB Description :
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
The IDM Technical Writer will create technical-based documentation related
to Identity Management. Some time will be spent documenting Siteminder and
Single Sign On (SSO). Must be able to translate ideas, concepts, updates and
whiteboard-style delivery of information into acceptable business
documents. Most of the documentation will be process oriented, so
proficiency in MS Word, PPT, Adobe Acrobat, UML diagramming and MS Visio is
required. Version control and document history are required and will be the
sole accountability of the technical writer. Will assist the IDM Program
Manager in drafting communications regarding IDM projects.

*Qualifications/Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and organizational
skills.
Proven experience in technical writing, including writing samples and
references, are necessary.
Proficiency in:
MS Word
MS Visio
Adobe Acrobat
MS PowerPoint
UML Diagramming (a plus)
Strong written communication skills
Previous technical writing experience required
Ability to organize documents and provide proper flow
Knowledge on document revision techniques
Excellent typing skills and speed
Ability to manage multiple assignments in parallel
Strong self starter who can succeed with little direction
Ability to come up to speed quickly with document repository technologies*
*Desired:
Prior technical writing experiences in IT.
A firm grasp of IT technologies, standards and terms
Experience with validation of qualification documentation is a plus.*
