Job Title : Oracle Business Intelligence Location : Pittsburgh, PA Duration : 6+ Month Contract Job Requirements The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems is required. 7 to 10 years of software development experience is required in JAVA, J2EE, WebSphere and UNIX environment. Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence and Informatica. Experience in XML, Perl, Struts ,SQL, and scripting is preferred Good verbal and written communication skills Understanding of the complete System Development Life Cycle is preferred Job Duties : As a Software Engineer and a member of the clients Information Technology organization of more than 1,100 professionals, you will be based in downtown Pittsburgh, where you will partner with numerous software developer teams to launch ground-breaking products to our clients. Drawing upon your understanding of complete systems development cycles, you will work with various product development teams as they complete the design process, advising and assisting them to help move projects into production. You will focus on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition for a new Treasury Management Healthcare product. You will utilize in-depth knowledge of Oracle BIEE, UNIX, Oracle DBMS, SQL and Data Warehouse concepts. You will also be responsible for the integration of third party and custom developed software that will leverage enterprise technologies and systems to deliver a comprehensive infrastructure supporting distributed object-oriented applications in an n-tier multi-platform environment. You will report to a Vice President, Applications Development. The hours follow a basic workweek, but also require some tailoring to the needs of your internal clients. In a typical day, your internal clients will call upon you for both tactical and long-term support, drawing upon your technical knowledge and business savvy. No two days will be alike, and the clients commitment to technology leadership means your skills will stay razor sharp. Working with priorities jointly set by your business group and the IT organization, you'll enjoy significant access and exposure to senior bankers at the clients, while working in a familiar IT-intensive culture and a state-of-the-industry facility.
