*Position: Build Engineer Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 3+ month contract* *Rate: $40-$43/hr* *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY!!!** * *Position Description:* Primary function is Build Engineer *Must Have* o Excellent communication skills. Verbal and Written. Candidate must be able to communicate well and be understood in person and on the telephone. o Candidate will communicate directly with individuals and small groups. o Current, or recent, experience as a J2EE developer. (5 years) o Ability to successfully interact across multiple levels of an organization. o Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic environment. o Solid understanding of the build & deploy process and has some direct experience working as part of a build team. (2+ years) o Experience with source code revision tools (*Subversion*) (2 Years) and Build creation tools (*Maven*) (1 year) o Experience with Branching and Merging in a multi-project environment. o Experience working directly with multiple Developer teams and engaging with them to help control and monitor their activities. *Preferred Skills -* o Experience as a Unix administrator o Experience with Subversion; Multi-project; multi-branch environment. o Significant experience working with MAVEN. o Understanding of how to make MAVEN work in a dynamic, multi-project environment. o Must have experience with *ANT*.
