Must have had a security related project currently or in the past.
Description:
Summary: A series of changes to its security program and needs assistance
managing the Security program project in a rapid start and execution of
multiple deliverables across diverse cross functional teams. This staff
augmentation will assist and support the management of the project and
ensure the project and all critical path deliverables are met. Successful
contractor should have strong project management experience in information
technology and information security in a state government setting. This
project will entail the development and implementation of documented
administrative, technical and physical security controls and will focus on
collaborative approach to meeting security program deliverables.
The Project Manager must have:
. Five to seven years of project management experience
. Current or recent hands on project coordination or project management
responsibilities
. Current or recent hands on development in information technology project
experience
. Excellent written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills
and demonstrated ability to interact with all technical and non-technical
members of the organization
Desired Skills
. At least three years direct experience managing projects in an information
technology environment
. Experience managing a project in a government entity
. Knowledge of information security and related experience
. Experience establishing, managing a security program implementation
. Experience creating standards, templates, procedures, and policies
. Experience with electronic document management system - particularly
Filenet and SharePoint.
. Expert knowledge using Microsoft Project
. Appropriate current security certification
. Project Management Certification
. ITIL certification
