POSITION: SAP Funds Management/Grants Management Professional
Location : San Jose , CA
Duration : 3 yrs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
As a SAP Funds Management / Grants Management consultant it is
required to have experience with SAP 4.7 / ECC 5 or 6.0 and a history
of successfully implementing and/or upgrading the SAP Funds Management
module to take on challenging projects. Experience in SAP Public
Sector is essential for this job. We'll rely on your knowledge of
accounting and finance concepts, and understanding of SAP integration
points with other SAP Finance modules. Your ability to interact with
all levels of the client (from clerical to executives) will be vital,
as well as your understanding and recollection of end user
requirements will help keep our projects on schedule and at the
highest level of quality.
* Understanding of SAP full life-cycle activities for the Funds
Management functional areas including requirements definition
(blueprinting), system configuration, integration testing,
documentation, end user training, and on-going support.
* Proven experience with funds management, formulating account
structure to meet business needs, budget control, fm derivation
strategies, fund accounting, fund centers, functional area, commitment
item, funded programs, grants, cost center accounting, encumbrance,
cost allocations, general and/or special purpose ledger, due to/due
from, split processor for fund balancing, month-end and year-end
closing processes
* Knowledge of Material Management, especially Purchasing,
Controlling, Budget Control System, Grants Management, General Ledger,
Accounts Payable and Receivable, Asset Management, and how they
integrate with the Funds Management Module
* Financial reporting for modified (governmental) and full accrual
(government-wide) GASB 34-35
* Understanding of tables and structures
* Ability to understand public sector business processes and offer
best practice solutions
* Self initiative with the ability to work independently once
requirements have been defined
* Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability
to express complex business concepts.
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills.
Minimum Experience:
· 4 years SAP
· 4 years GM/FM
· Experience in any Public Sector.
