Job Title : Business Analyst With Derivatives
Location : Boston, MA
Duration : 6-12 months Contract

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Description:
Position is responsible for the following as it pertains to the Derivatives
Operations Middle - Back Office:
Serve as primary interface to the business partners.
Work with business partners to effectively identify document, and obtain
approval of business requirements
Participate in project planning, estimating, and scheduling activities with
the Project Manager.
Facilitate effective and efficient meetings with business partners, project
teams and other resources.
Develop test plans to ensure that appropriate testing is planned and
conducted to demonstrate that the software satisfies its requirements.
Document and execute test scenarios and test scripts. Facilitate successful
completion of user acceptance testing process.
Static data set-up and validation.
Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of the clients' business operations and issues, along
with a strong understanding of the company's various businesses and an
awareness of current issues.
4+ years of progressive business analysis experience supporting small to
medium size projects.
Strong understanding of Derivatives.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Extensive knowledge and
understanding of process design, analytical and productivity improvement
methodologies.
Capable of gathering and validating requirements in order to resolve issues
and problems. Ability to take a creative approach to problem solving and
question traditional assumptions.
Demonstrated strength at evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and
options, assess risks and trade-offs and, make informed and timely
decisions.
Excellent interpersonal skills and expert strength in facilitating and
presenting in large group settings. Strong interviewing, influencing and
negotiation skills across the organization.
Excellent initiative and ability to commit to a course of action in the face
of risks and uncertainty.
