Job Title : Data Analyst with ETL and Data warehouse Experience
Location : Herndon, VA
Duration : 6-12 months Contract
Rate : Open
The Data Analyst II will gather user requirements for database changes,
analyze database requirements, create specifications for the ETL team to
load the data to the database, participate in functional design sessions,
create and execute test scripts for the load of the database, and aid in the
escalation/resolution of data issues. The candidate must be familiar with
the development lifecycle and must be proficient in querying databases via
SQL or other tools.
Looking for an experienced Data Analyst that can immediately start
backfilling a Data Warehouse Data Analyst position, of which the primary
responsibilities are to execute data validation procedures, and
identify/resolve data issues. The Data Analyst must also have development
lifecycle experience, specifically in terms of defining and testing
requirements. These skills are required to support the production database
in terms of facilitating the implementation of defect resolutions and minor
functionality enhancements. They are also required to provide supplemental
support to a high profile, high priority project that has an aggressive
timeline. The purpose of the project is to significantly reduce the time it
takes to validate data that is loaded to/extracted from a corporate
relational database. This will be accomplished by automating the current
data validation process, that is predominately manual.
