******Immediately Needed A Consultant****** Job Title : SAP Basis Specialist Location : Lawrenceville, GA Duration : Longterm Contract Rate : OPEN The SAP Basis Application Specialist applies knowledge to SAP products, including R/3, Business Warehouse, SAP Enterprise Portals, SEM, CRM, SRM, and database and operating system technical skills to maintain the end-to-end technology infrastructure and client’s SAP landscape environments. The Basis Application Specialist applies Basis skills to support all of the above mentioned areas and also applies software repairs, maintains the transport landscape, client copies, applies support packages, applies OSS Notes into the system, consults and assists the Database Administrators on the creation of a database. The specialist applies database knowledge to define database layouts, implement AIX file structures and manage database structure and performance. To ensure proper system performance and availability, the specialist performs daily system health checks, performs system tuning where appropriate and manages problems. In addition to applying technical knowledge, the specialist could be responsible for managing technical projects. Perform Basis system administration and technical core competency tasks including SAP software repairs, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishing batch scheduling environments New SAP releases to current landscape environments and perform installations/upgrades Maintain multi-landscape environments through transports, client copies, and system refreshes Demonstrate IBM hardware and AIX/Windows operating system knowledge by defining and implementing Unix and Windows file structures. Advise AIX Administrators of Operating System tuning and performance improvement when required Lead and participate in technical projects across multiple teams Research and participate in emerging technologies within SAP Create troubleshooting documents for support and maintenance Work with SAP and other software vendors to install and resolve issues Perform troubleshooting of Business Warehouse performance and technical issues Work with the functional teams and data owners from all modules to come up with the best fit security design.
