Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job : Lead JAVA w/ MOBILE Development Exp Location : Overland Park, KS Duration : LONG TERM Software Development Lead Provides technical leadership and direction for the successful conception, design, implementation, testing and deployment of mobile commerce product. Utilizes experience with resource management methodologies and techniques, to manage the successful execution and completion of projects. Duties and Responsibilities a.. Participates as high-level technical expert in design, development, coding, testing, and debugging new mobile commerce software or significant enhancements to existing product b.. Participates in the strategic decisions about technology, definition, and implementation of software development. c.. Responsible for software technical and architecture specification development and review d.. Ensure that deliverables are on time, within budget, and meets the quality levels expected by CLIENT's internal and external customers. e.. Collaborates with Product Management staff to research, analyze, scope and specify product line extensions in mobile commerce product on-demand services and software solutions. f.. Oversees the creation of and execution against a development schedule. g.. Represents CLIENT to external development partners, vendors and industry groups. h.. Manages project management of software product updates and releases from initiation through maintenance-specifically including communication and risk mitigation. i.. Other duties as required Requirements and Experience a.. A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. b.. 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years leadership. c.. Thorough understanding of software design and development methodologies and practices. d.. Proven ability to architect large scale service-based solutions, and hybrid solutions. e.. Detailed knowledge and proven experience with project, schedule, scope and risk-management techniques. f.. Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to lead the translation of high-level business requirements into detailed technical requirements. g.. Good negotiation skills and the ability to operate among conflicting requests and opinion h.. Strong team building and influencing skills, with a track record of creating focus and momentum. i.. Proven track record of producing quality products. j.. Strong JAVA J2EE (enterprise level, with both EJB and Servlets) experience as Lead developer and ideally some experience of Visual C++ / VC++ / Visual Studio. k..
