Job Title : Business Analyst
Location : NYC,NY

Must Have Skills
* Ability to support systems conversion, quality analysis and investigation
(knowledge of SQL would be helpful); Ground-level experience desired;
Willingness to churn through many trades/security masters and proactively
troubleshoot trade issues
* Ground-level experience with financial data
(ideally,curves/spreads/exchange rates, but could be anything, even equity
quotes)
* Strong understanding of Interest Rate and FX derivatives (trade capture
and valuations) and trade order management workflows, ideally Interest Rate
Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps or FX derivatives.
* Experience in defining requirements working directly with Front, Middle
and Back office groups in a high pressure environment
* Experience with market data issues present in trading systems
* Experience with market data cleaning, creation of cleaning processes
(manual and automated)
* Self starter who can be proactive with resolving issues and reaching out
to required parties with limited day-to-day support
* Experience in creating Business requirements, functional specifications
and writing and executing test scenarios and plans (ideally for Fixed
Income products or a financial product of decent complexity (e.g., options,
FX,etc.))
* Ability to execute test plans (both hands-on or directing a small team)
* Ability to create complex but scalable, reusable, transparent excel-based
tools as proof-of-concepts and test tools
* Ability to work in an environment with strong expectations for
auditability and recreatibility Highly Desirable Skills (but not must-have)
* Exposure to vendor packages (SunGard Front Arena)
* Ability to research fixed income instruments in Bloomberg
* Ability to write simple VBA scripts
* Ability to write SQL
Highly Desirable Attributes (but not must-have)
* Management/Sys-Integration consulting experience, especially Big4
* Finance or Computer Science degree (graduate or undergraduate
