QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidate possesses an MBA and a BA/BS degree in information science, business administration or other applicable degree 8+ years of relevant business analysis experience in preparing business requirements, use case diagram, use cases, business process modeling (BPM), conceptual data modeling and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams Ability to conceptualize a system by describing a business process (e.g. Activity diagram) or data entities (e.g. Class diagram) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner Excellent leadership and teamwork skills Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills Strong customer-oriented mindset Self-starter, proactive Strong organizational skills Great attention to details Ability to learn new products, systems, applications and technologies Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Knowledge of project life cycle for web applications using various methodologies such as iterations and agile/SCRUM PREFERED SKILLS Banking industry knowledge and experience Product and/or project management experience Knowledge of internet technologies Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) Knowledge of user interface design Functional testing experience POSITION DESCRIPTION Wholesale Internet Team (WIT) develops, manages and markets Treasury Management and Internet products for Client's large corporate and middle market customers. Senior Business Analysts play a central role in the application development process. Key abilities include working collaboratively and exhibiting influence without direct control. Business Analysts must be able to learn quickly, apply good business sense to technology issues, produce solid business analysis deliverables and drive issues to resolution in a timely manner. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a key conduit with Product Managers, Systems Architects, User Experience Designers, Project Managers, Quality Assurance resources and various other members of the development community May be asked to work closely with Product Managers to define and document high-level business requirements May be asked to explain high-level business requirements to Sizing and Scheduling Committee Model business processes (BPM) Model data (business view of data such as an entity relationship diagram ERD) Facilitate discussions and write detailed business requirements and use cases May be asked to prepare UML diagrams such as State Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams, etc. Facilitate walkthroughs of detailed business requirements and use cases As necessary, prepare change control requests and make appropriate revisions to detailed business requirements and use cases May be asked to perform some functional testing and provide any clarifications on detailed business requirements Provide project status Rate: $50/Hr, Job Type: Contract, Duration: 6 Months, Number Of Openings: 1, Location: SFO ,CA Respond to <mailto:[email protected]?subject=response_to_req%2d0151> this requirement.
