We have this position open. Please send me resume with Iseries Exp Position: Performance Test Engineer with Iseries Exp Location :Seattle, WA Duration: 6 Months IBM iseries environment Exp Required. Description of position: The Performance Test Engineer will be heavily involved in working with project teams to help define and document performance test requirements, defining performance test scenarios, scripting, executing automated tests, reporting and analyzing test results, and managing associated defects. This individual will be instrumental in mentoring and training project members and/or future performance test team members. Daily tasks and responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Contributes to the development of performance test objectives and performance related requirements · Sizes test effort, identifies tasks, and documents tasks for the project plan and the performance test plan · Supports the preparation of the performance test environment and infrastructure · Creates and maintains LoadRunner scripts and scenarios · Performs the execution of the performance testing, problem resolution, data collection and analysis according to the project plan schedule · Makes contingency decisions during the test execution for retest and modification of test scenarios · Responsible for creating all project deliverables including performance test plans, and performance test reports · Leads test planning workshops, test readiness reviews and performance test results review · Develops, maintains, and ensures compliance with Performance Test process policies and procedures · Gathers business volumetrics and assembles workload and transaction information for performance testing · Designs the performance test scenarios that meet the objectives identified in the performance test plans · Defines the test execution and plans for modifying the test scripts and/or scenarios · Assists with the identification, creation and maintenance of performance test data required to drive workloads Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry-specific skills that candidates should possess) · 5 years hands-on experience scripting and executing automated performance tests using HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) · 5 years experience performance testing in an IBM iseries environment · 5 years experience successfully leading/managing a performance test team · Demonstrable success mentoring and training project teams and performance team members · 10 years experience working in client-server/RDBMS environments with one or more of the following operating systems: Windows or UNIX · Firm understanding of performance test methodology, the SDLC, test environment/ test data management · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Excellent organizational skills to include: scheduling, monitoring, and tracking · Proven ability to work under pressure and to effectively multitask · Demonstrable success eliciting functional and non-functional requirements · Previous success collaborating with offshore technical teams and leading concurrent performance test efforts · Excellent skills in all of the following areas: presentation and facilitation, diplomacy, analysis and problem solving Knowledge and talents recommended for job success § Strong work ethic, exceptional leadership skills, and proven ability to diplomatically advocate for and implement positive change § Willing to take ownership of all assigned tasks § Innovative, creative, and extremely responsive with a strong sense of urgency § Responsible, conscientious, and the proven ability to deliver under minimal supervision Please let me know if you have any consultant available for this.
