Resources would be expected to follow SRS system development life
cycle processes.
Acceptance Testing Resource will:
• Assist in the design and test the solution.
o Participate in design meetings with the project Business
Analysis and business staff
o Assist project management with time estimates and
timelines
o Create test plans and scenarios so that changes are
adequately tested
o Execute test scenarios and assist development staff with
problem resolution
• Assist with user help documentation
• Complete needed User Manual updates
• Supply regular progress reports to the project
supervisor
• Instruct other testers and Business Help Desk of changes
made to the system
• Perform other testing tasks as assigned by the Test
Manager
Knowledge and ability to utilize of the following products:

Additional Requirements:

Senior QA Test Engineer
Accepting Only : GC & UScitzens
Contract: 1 year+
Location Spokane, WA
This senior level technical position is responsible for the research,
creation and execution of quality processes within the Avista IS
organization. Process categories include test planning, test design,
test script development, test execution, defect documentation and
tracking, and test reporting.
The Senior QA Test Engineer is technically adept and has a working
knowledge of test tools, including those associated with software test
automation. This individual is capable of leading any test project
within IS, taking responsibility for test planning and the allocation
of test resources. In a lead test engineer role the Senior QA Test
Engineer supervises and mentors junior test engineers to meet
established project milestones. This individual champion's continuous
improvement of quality processes within the department.
Requirements:
• 8 years Test engineer
• 3 years Experience leading QA test projects in IS/IT environment
• 3 years SQL, XML HTML or Perl
• 3 years Analytical and Problem Solving

Tester/WebSphere for one of our clients. This project is for 6 months
with an option to extend.
Scope of work:
• Listens and absorbs requirements in customer requirements gathering
meetings led by Business Analyst/Product Owner.
• Creates detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts and test
data. Creates test reports. Develops processes, procedures, forms
and templates for all such testing. Determines operational, technical
and support requirements for all such testing.
• Take Business Analyst/Product Owner acceptance criteria and verbal
requirements and work with developers to create ad hoc test cases
quickly.
• Plans for amount of work that can be delivered in a given timeframe.
• Assures that the software delivered by the team in each sprint meet
the customer requirements and are of highest quality; provides
inspections, testing and guidance to assure that all software acquired
or developed by the Project Management Office meets the current
standards, guidelines and best practices for protecting agency and
personnel data, for security, and for financial calculations as
defined by operating processes and legislation.
• Communicates with project manager, technical team lead, team members
and customers about testing tasks and results and to understand their
needs. Documents all work, as requested.
• Keeps team informed on issues and the status of work planned and
completed by participating in daily 15 minute Scrum meetings
• Raise impediments to getting tasks done.
• Self-organizes and works independently on tasks as well as closely
with others when needed.
• Collaborates with team members effectively during planning of tasks
and implementation of tasks.
• Takes responsibility for resolving interpersonal issues if they
arise with team members.
• Willingness to work as part of a team to develop software using the
Scrum framework.
• May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
