System support of a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System
(SACWIS). Strong understanding of SACWIS functionality. Knowledgeable of
data relationships within SACWIS application systems. Knowledgeable of
child welfare business, policies, procedures, and practices. Knowledge of
federal Title IV-E/FC requirements. Knowledge of the federal Title IV-E
waiver demonstration project requirements. Knowledge of federal Title IV-E
adoption assistance requirements. Knowledge of requirements for the
Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS). Knowledge
of requirements for the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System
(NCANDS).
Understanding of full software development life cycle and associated
documentation including business needs analysis, system analysis, functional
design, technical design, development, testing, and production system
support.
Strong experience with software testing and troubleshooting, including
creating test scripts and performing black box and functional testing,
system testing, and regression testing. Experience reading and interpreting
software requirements and design documentation in order to create test
scripts.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess strong listening
skills. Ability to communicate and interact with Child Welfare staff and
system development staff to address software issues and problems, including
research, analysis, and solution development. Ability to write in a clear
and concise manner and able to convey information appropriately for a
variety of audiences. Ability to develop, maintain, track, and organize
software system documents.
Experience with software support and internal customer support, including
telephone and E-mail support. Experienced in providing production system
support and solving daily production issues for SACWIS environment. Ability
to plan work tasks and activities. Strong analytical & troubleshooting
skills.
