* <kiran.ved...@erpminds.com>*Location – Fremont CA Duration – 6 months Role – Test Engineer BSEE/CE/CS or equivalent with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of basic system and storage administration tasks in UNIX and MS Windows operating systems. Experience working with an external RAID Storage Subsystem and Host clustering such as Microsoft Cluster. Good working knowledge of storage related issues (e.g., data protection, write cache, performance). Programming experience in one or more of the following: Windows Scripting, Perl to automate application testing. Experience in one or more of the following: Installation, configuration and testing of applications such as MS Exchange, MS SQL Server. Working knowledge of at least one test harness environment. Experience with load testing and performance/scalability testing with above mentioned applications will be a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills with good attention to detail. Good time management, including the ability to work independently, to reprioritize tasks, and to deliver projects on time.
